Subject Access Request Procedure
The Right of Access is an important right for individuals, allowing them to obtain information about the kinds of data organisations process about them, and to verify that the information is accurate and up to date.
To see a copy of your own data held by Memory Tours you will need to submit a written request to Memory Tours enclosing proof of identity, such as a copy of driving licence or passport.
Please fill out the Subject Access Request Form to assist Memory Tours in accurately identifying the location(s) of the personal data. However, any request in writing is acceptable. Under the Acts, Memory Tours has 40 days from the date it receives a valid Section 4 request to supply the person with a copy of their personal data.
Please note that Section 5 of the Data Protection Act provides that the right of access does not apply in a number of cases, in order to strike a balance between the rights of the individual, on the one hand, and the operational requirements of the organisation on the other. For this reason, there are circumstances under which Memory Tours will withhold certain data from disclosure. These circumstances will be reviewed on a case by-case basis. Contact Memory Tours for a copy of the Subject Access Request Procedure. Memory Tours Data Breach Notification Procedure and Policy
